Abstract

This study aims to determine the concept of teacher ethics according to Hasyim Asy'ari to reveal again KH. Hasyim Asy'ari's thoughts in the field of Islamic education ethics, especially teacher ethics. What is the paradigm of Islamic education ethics and teacher ethics according to KH. Hasyim Asy'ari along with his analysis. With the hope of being able to make a positive contribution to the world of education, especially for the subjects of education.

The design and approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative which is library research in nature and the analysis technique is content analysis.

From the results of this study it was concluded that KH. Hasyim Asy'ari has the view that as a teacher he must be knowledgeable and also correct, meaning that he has an attitude that is in accordance with the rules or values ​​in ethics education in Islam. The more specific concept of ethics that must be owned by a teacher is the ethics of students towards themselves, towards their students, towards their lessons and ethical concepts towards their books. Imperfection is a reality inherent in human beings, as well as in the analysis of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari's concept. Therefore, the concept and analysis should still need to be dialogued with reality, reviewed in several descriptions so that values ​​that are not yet relevant become a concern for observers and researchers of Islamic education ethics.
