Pengaruh Pengaruh Kajian Kitab Ta’limul Muta’allim Terhadap Adab Siswa SMP IT IDBS Pinggir

This study aims to determine the influence of Ta’limul Muta’allim book study on the manners (adab) of students at SMP IT IDBS Pinggir. The background of this research is based on the importance of adab as the foundation of seeking knowledge, which is currently facing serious challenges in the era of globalization and digitalization. Ta’limul Muta’allim, a classical Islamic book authored by Imam Az-Zarnuji, teaches values of adab such as politeness, respect for teachers, responsibility, and discipline, which are highly relevant to be integrated into formal education. This research employs a quantitative approach using the ex post facto method. The population consists of all ninth-grade students at SMP IT IDBS Pinggir, totaling 79 students, with a sample of 44 students selected through proportional random sampling. The research instrument used is a Likert-scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used simple linear regression. The research findings indicate a significant influence of the Ta’limul Muta’allim study on students' adab at SMP IT IDBS Pinggir. This proves that routine and structured classical book studies can effectively shape students' character and address the moral crisis within formal educational environments. The study recommends that educational institutions continuously integrate adab values from classical Islamic texts into the curriculum as a strategic effort to develop students’ Islamic character.
