Abstract

The teacher does not only make the curriculum, compile the curriculum, but he also has to use the curriculum, describe it and implement it through the learning process. The curriculum is intended for students, through teachers who significantly influence students during the teaching process. This expression clearly shows that learning and teaching are two processes that cannot be separated from one another in the implementation of education.

Teaching is a series of activities to convey learning material to students so that they can receive, understand, respond, live, own, master, and develop. So teaching has a goal, among others, so that students can gain knowledge, then can also develop it.

The cognitive aspect is a learning strategy that emphasizes the full involvement of students to be able to find the material being studied and relate it to real life situations so as to encourage students to be able to apply it in their lives.

This research has obtained research results, namely the efforts and efforts that have been made by teachers at MI As-syahidah Pinggir to direct and overcome problems that occur in students such as the lack of student independence in learning, and the Application of the Value Clarification Technique Method in Developing the Cognitive Aspects of MI Students As-Syahidah Pinggir has been considered quite successful with quite good research results, namely the highest alternative is in option B, but still requires an increase in learning
