IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ABILITY GROUPING DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH PONDOK MODERN AL-JAUHAR IKHD DURI

This thesis discusses "Implementation of the ability grouping learning model at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Modern Al-Jauhar IKHD Duri". The problem discussed in this thesis is how to implement the Ability Grouping learning model at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Modern Al-Jauhar IKHD Duri. This Ability Grouping learning model is a class grouping model based on achievement. This research aims to determine the implementation of class grouping, and the impact of implementing the Ability Grouping learning model at MTs Pondok Modern Al-Jauhar IKHD Duri. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The number of samples was 9 class IX students at MTs Pondok Modern Al-Jauhar IKHD Duri. The results obtained in this research were that class grouping at MTs Pondok Modern Al-Jauhar IKHD Duri was carried out based on students' academic abilities. In determining the class grouping of madrasah students, measuring tools are used in the form of exam results and a ranking system, to determine and measure students' initial abilities, interest tests, talent tests and student character analysis tests are carried out to determine children's learning styles. The aim of implementing the Ability Grouping learning model at Pondok Modern Al-Jauhar is to make it easier for teachers to deliver learning materials to students. When students with the same abilities are in the same class group, the teacher has no difficulty because students' comprehension of the material is on average the same in one class.
