Abstract

The background of the problem at SMPS Hubbulwathan Duri is that there are symptoms experienced by students in the Aqidah Akhlak students including: 1) The ability of students is not yet effective, 2) The effectiveness of communication and students are not good in the learning process, 3) The students are not fully realizing learning in everyday life, 4) Students' sense of responsibility is not maximized, 5) Students are able to take part in Aqidah Akhlak learning well

This study aims to find out how the understanding of CTL learning is in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at SMPS Hubbulwathan Duri. To find out how the implementation of CTL learning in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at SMPS Hubbulwathan Duri. To find out what are the supporting factors, obstacles and solutions for implementing CTL in learning Aqidah Akhlak at SMPS Hubbulwathan Duri.

The type of research used in this study was descriptive qualitative which was carried out at SMPS Hubbulwathan Duri. The object of this study was the Aqidah Akhlak subject teacher and all 219 students. The research data was obtained from the results of questionnaires and interviews during the activities which were analyzed using percentage techniques
